美國(guó)總統(tǒng)特朗普日前稱(chēng)，5G是一場(chǎng)美國(guó)“必須贏得勝利”的競(jìng)賽。

“The race to 5G is on and America must win,” Trump said, noting that 92 5G markets will be ready by the end of the year, outpacing South Korea, which is on pace to have 48 markets live by the end of 2019.

特朗普在講話(huà)中稱(chēng)，美國(guó)計(jì)劃在年底前在92個(gè)市場(chǎng)推出5G網(wǎng)絡(luò)，超過(guò)韓國(guó)的48個(gè)市場(chǎng)的計(jì)劃，成為世界第一。

“It’s a race our great companies are now involved in,” Trump said. “According to some estimates, the wireless industry plans to invest $275 billion in 5G networks, creating 3 million American jobs quickly, and adding $500 billion to our economy.”

In his speech last week, Trump emphasized that the private sector needs to lead the way in building 5G networks across the United States. Mobile operators including Verizon and AT&T have started rolling out the networks in select cities, with limited success so far.
