據(jù)外媒報(bào)道，世界衛(wèi)生組織專家組3日訪問(wèn)了武漢病毒研究所，多位專家表示，武漢實(shí)驗(yàn)室設(shè)備精良、管理嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，有關(guān)武漢實(shí)驗(yàn)室病毒泄漏的陰謀論毫無(wú)根據(jù)。
CNN記者在采訪世衛(wèi)專家組成員、英國(guó)動(dòng)物學(xué)家彼得·達(dá)薩克時(shí)問(wèn)道，病毒是否有可能是武漢實(shí)驗(yàn)室制造并泄露出來(lái)的？對(duì)此，達(dá)薩克給出了非?？隙ǖ幕卮穑汉翢o(wú)根據(jù)（There's no evidence of that at all）。
另外，俄羅斯衛(wèi)星網(wǎng)4日也報(bào)道稱：
The laboratory of the Wuhan Institute of Virology is well-equipped, and it is very difficult to imagine a leak from there, said Vladimir Dedkov, an expert of the WHO group from Russia, deputy director for scientific work of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.
世衛(wèi)專家組成員、俄羅斯圣彼得堡巴斯德研究所副主任、流行病學(xué)博士戴德科夫表示，武漢病毒研究所的實(shí)驗(yàn)室設(shè)備精良，很難想象這里會(huì)發(fā)生泄漏。

戴德科夫說(shuō)，不知道誰(shuí)在批評(píng)武漢實(shí)驗(yàn)室，但這里設(shè)備精良，“很難想象能有什么會(huì)從這里泄漏出去”。
“It is well-organized. I do not know who criticized them. The laboratory is perfectly equipped. It is hard for me to imagine that something could have leaked from there.”
“一切都井井有條。我不知道是誰(shuí)在批評(píng)他們，這個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)室設(shè)備精良，我很難想象能有什么會(huì)從這里泄漏出去。”
報(bào)道提到，專家組訪問(wèn)的“武漢病毒實(shí)驗(yàn)室”是研究所內(nèi)的生物安全四級(jí)（BSL-4）實(shí)驗(yàn)室。依據(jù)安全規(guī)格和密封程度，該實(shí)驗(yàn)室目前是中國(guó)安全等級(jí)最高的生物實(shí)驗(yàn)室。此前有傳言抹黑稱，該實(shí)驗(yàn)室發(fā)生了所謂“病毒泄漏”。

彼得·達(dá)薩克對(duì)CNN表示，武漢實(shí)驗(yàn)室做出過(guò)很多優(yōu)秀的科研成果，也許正是因?yàn)樵搶?shí)驗(yàn)室的相關(guān)研究非常接近病毒的真相，反而有一些人站出來(lái)指責(zé)抹黑它，這一點(diǎn)“挺諷刺的”。
"I know that lab really well," said Daszak. "It is a good virology lab that was doing good work that got close to finding what the next SARS-related coronavirus would be. But it didn't find it as far as I know. But you know, unfortunately, it maybe got so close that people now ironically start to blame it."
“我對(duì)這個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)室非常熟悉，這里做出過(guò)很多優(yōu)秀的科研成果，差不多要發(fā)現(xiàn)下一個(gè)SARS相關(guān)的冠狀病毒是什么了，盡管目前還沒(méi)有真正發(fā)現(xiàn)。不幸的是，也許正是因?yàn)樗麄冞^(guò)于接近真相，人們開始指責(zé)他們。這挺諷刺的。”
為探求新型冠狀病毒的起源，世界衛(wèi)生組織近期派遣專家組赴中國(guó)武漢進(jìn)行現(xiàn)場(chǎng)調(diào)研，而專家組對(duì)之前屢次被居心叵測(cè)者抹黑的武漢病毒實(shí)驗(yàn)室予以積極評(píng)價(jià)，“世衛(wèi)專家對(duì)武漢病毒研究所的安全性很有信心”。
中國(guó)外交部發(fā)言人汪文斌3日也在例行記者會(huì)上介紹說(shuō)：
國(guó)際專家組與中方進(jìn)行了富有成效的討論，同時(shí)訪問(wèn)了醫(yī)院、市場(chǎng)、疾控中心等，有關(guān)工作進(jìn)展順利。今天（3日），專家組還去了武漢病毒研究所參觀交流，并同華中農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)專家座談。這些活動(dòng)都是雙方溯源交流合作的重要內(nèi)容。中方將一如既往地秉持開放、透明、負(fù)責(zé)任的態(tài)度，繼續(xù)同世衛(wèi)組織保持合作。
The team of experts had productive discussions with the Chinese side and visited hospitals, markets and the Wuhan CDC. Relevant work is progressing smoothly. Today, the team also visits the Wuhan Institute of Virology and has a discussion with experts from Huazhong Agricultural University. These activities are an important part of the origin-tracing exchanges and cooperation between the two sides. China will, as always, maintain an open, transparent and responsible attitude, continue to cooperate with the WHO.
